An eye catching brand identity for your business
Logo design and branding is an essential part of your company image. Your logo should be treated as the foundation of your marketing and key to successfully generating and securing business.
Your customers will be much more interested in the products or services you are offering if your company portrays a professional appearance and makes a great first impression.
Branding doesn’t need to be complicated; some simple and consistent brand identity guidelines, along with a clean and effective logo can all go a long way to helping your company generate new business and retain customers.
Even a simple type-logo, made up of just text, using a well selected, suitable font can be far more effective than many busy and clumsy looking logos of your competitors.

Outstanding first impressions
Your logo and branding should reflect the quality of your business, it’s essential.. as people will very quickly make up their minds about what what they think of you.
Within seconds of seeing your marketing, whether online, TV or in print, they will have formed a subconscious opinion of how much they like and trust you.
Consider this from your own point of view; when you are searching for a product or service online, you’ll search and find various websites.. you will naturally be more drawn to look around on the sites that appear more clean, uncluttered and professional looking.
Along with an equally refined logo and identity, this is what will retain visitors and help turn them in to customers.
The same quality appearance should be carried through to all marketing and communications with customers, social, email, print etc.. consistency in branding is key to adding familiarity, trust and power to your brand image.

Branding
If required, a much more in depth approach can be undertaken, where the full communications strategy of your business with be thought through.
This allows you to have a clear vision for the future of your brand, as well as having a blueprint detailing how your brand should be represented.
This can save you time and money in the long run, rather than having to explain to everyone who becomes involved in your advertising and marketing, you can simply supply them with a copy of your brand guidelines and they can quickly understand how to proceed.
It will also ensure that all marketing and communications remain consistent and ‘on-brand’ whoever may be supplying or executing them.
Brand guidelines and identity toolkits
Brand guidelines can be supplied, with a ‘brand identity toolkit’, with instructions explaining the use of your new identity and logo wherever it may appear, online, in digital form and in print.
These guides include the tone of voice that should be used, your brand colours and fonts. Also containing information about the relationships between the different brand elements, as well as visuals illustrating how the logo should be shown. Plus any rules regarding how to use it in various different situations, eg. on dark backgrounds and in areas with limited space.
They can also feature brand messages and information, describing the company’s ethos, values and characteristics.. all the things that make you who you are.
Guideline requirements can vary greatly, often depending upon the scale of your business or your target for the coming years. They can streamline future design and marketing projects, saving you time and money, avoiding repeated questions about your business and how best to present your brand.
Easily keeping all marketing designs and messages consistent and ‘on brand’ is the key reason for drawing up brand guidelines. However, if you are a small company or sole trader, these guides may not be needed or could be something to consider for the future.
We can discuss options and take the best approach depending upon your goals and budget.
